We loved the idea of using actual sequins, glitter paper and feather boas to create reality based textures in a digital poster design. We took a field trip to the fabric store and photographed materials, others we brought home and scanned. From there we took the digital components and layered them into a design with bright colors, bold prints and a lot of contrast. It was important to us that the pops of color and metallic shine draw the viewer's eye in, creating emphasis on the type. Her name is custom typography we created with a glitter paper mask applied.
